With the ongoing process of building the brand experience, Merkenbaar created the three-dimensional brand identity for Tabac in collaboration with the brand marketing team of Mäurer & Wirtz and their interior design partner. The brand identity basis for the first shop in shop program by Maurer & Wirtz, being modular, functional, high-end and meeting all specialty needs by the brand, shop and department store stakeholders. A unique store, a barbershop where visitors can get a classic shave, with all the brand experience it contents.
The introduction of the shop in shop concept of Tabac, was at one of the first Hudsons Bay's department stores in the Netherlands. The Tabac Barbershops are located in Maastricht and Breda, which had the honour for the launch of the marketing campaign ' The Barbershop Stories, which was been re-designed to a perminant and local barbershop at those unique warehouses.A trading point and barbershop in one, treating the consumer with a shave, product and shaving advise, with all brand exposure, including digital and not to forget, while waiting, the perfect cup of coffee at the shop in shop.
