In collaboration with Mäurer & Wirtz and Aircommerce Airport Promotions, the Merkenbaar team developed from sketch to realization a unique concept in Lounge 1 at Schophol Airport, behind the customs borders. During the month of May, every visitor was treated with a free shave or trim by a team of barbers, testers were handed out and products sold at a location with more than one million passers-by. The unprecedented success of this promotion, with all its challenges, was crowned with 2 nominations at the TFWA in Cannes in the category 'Specialty concept of the year' and 'Marketing Campaign of the year.'
