At one of the largest airports in Europe with almost 70 million passengers a year, there is space for every brand to advertise, introduce products and experience brands. Various promotional spaces in unique places where people can advertise and reach visitors making this a unique location with an exclusive spot in Lounge 1 with more than a million passers-by. The chance to experience brands or products, to stimulate senses and to create memories with that visitor is a unique one. A pop up promotion at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport also starts at Merkenbaar.

As an experienced installation partner of projects behind the customs borders, we know the tight deadlines & planning necessary for a month-long promotion. In collaboration with Mäurer & Wirtz and Aircommerce Airport Promotions, the Merkenbaar team developed from sketch to realization a unique concept in Lounge 1 at Schophol Airport, behind the customs borders. During the month of May, every visitor was treated with a free shave or trim by a team of barbers, testers were handed out and products sold at a location with more than one million passers-by. The unprecedented success of this promotion, with all its challenges, was crowned with 2 nominations at the TFWA in Cannes in the category 'Specialty concept of the year' and 'Marketing Campaign of the year.'
